K2A provides architectural services that enhance the community fabric. Collaboration and client participation are the keys to our projects’ success. K2A works closely with clients, users, local communities, governing authorities, and contractors to ensure a smooth transition from idea to reality. Through creative problem solving, we present design solutions that meet site, structure, budget, and schedule challenges.
K2A provides a full range of architectural and interior design services, from site investigation and needs assessment, all the way through the full scope of design services – programming, design, construction documents, construction administration, and project close-out. Our interiors services include space planning; furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E); wayfinding design, and signage.
The collaborative nature of public projects is an integral part of K2A’s practice. Ultimately, a project will only be successful when the team works closely with users, stakeholders, and the surrounding community, who all provide valuable insight into the needs and objectives of a project. We find that having early discussions can diffuse politically motivated issues, create constructive dialogue and provide a sense of ownership for the process and built project. At K2A, our most important design skill is listening. We implement a variety of tools to better understand the client and project, create the vision, and meet the project goals.
